軍造四川銅幣”是辛亥革命時期的產(chǎn)物。1911年12月發(fā)生“成都兵變”，以尹昌衡、羅綸為正副都督的四川軍取代了成立僅12天的大漢四川軍。新的四川軍成立之初即面臨著需用日繁、度支日絀的財政困窘局面。軍迅速接管了四川成都造幣廠，決定鑄造“四川銅幣”以應(yīng)急。民國元年（1912年）4月，四川成都造幣廠奉四川軍之命，開模鑄造“軍
造四川銅幣”（也稱“漢”字銅元）。

四川銅幣，是晚清和北洋時期四川省地方鑄造的。由于川省銀銅礦缺乏，加之辛亥革命以后軍閥割據(jù)，致使《幣制條例》關(guān)于銅幣之原料比例、銅幣面額的規(guī)定沒有嚴格遵守，四川銅幣發(fā)行量十分，致使物價虛高、影響經(jīng)濟發(fā)展。四川銅幣，自光緒二十九年（1903年）六月開鑄，至民國二十四年（1935年）十一月法幣開始流通才逐漸退出流通領(lǐng)域

本公司近有幸征集了一款傳世遺珍名譽錢幣之“大清銅幣（戶部）一對”，藏品重量：14.4克。藏品雖然經(jīng)歷了無窮歲月的洗禮，但是如今保存依然較為完好?！按笄邈~幣（戶部）”是中國近代機制幣中的名譽品之一，“大清銅幣（戶部）”之所以名氣大是由于他的歷史性和性決定的。這玫錢幣版面設(shè)計優(yōu)雅，雕刻精良，但是，鑄造量不多，所以存世極罕，有的歷史價值與學術(shù)價值。

清乾隆二十五年（1760），作為新縣城由山陽縣劃入清河縣，先后為江南河道總督、淮揚道治所所在。在行政關(guān)系上，清江浦雖然一直隸屬于淮安府城（今淮安區(qū)），但明嘉靖之后，由于黃淮改道，運河河道截彎取直，老淮安府城從此遠離運口，其地位在很大程度上為清江浦所取代。乾隆四十年，清江浦人口達54萬，同期的漢口、上海。以清江浦和淮安府城為軸心的淮安城，與揚州、蘇州、上海并稱運河沿線的“都市”，有“東南四都”美譽。

清江浦是南北水運的樞紐，號稱“南北之襟喉，漕運之要津”。每年經(jīng)清江浦北運的漕糧高達六百萬石，淮鹽也行銷皖豫四十一個州縣，年征課銀達二十七萬兩。由此帶來的是的昌盛，到光緒年間，較大的有宜昌、崇德、慶生、律生、阜康、裕泰、祥泰、正大、生生大等十家，共有資本八萬七千六百元、年營業(yè)額十八萬七千元；當鋪有公濟、同仁、義永、履祥四家。金融業(yè)發(fā)展需要金屬參與流通，于是，在清江浦設(shè)立銅元局應(yīng)運而生。清光緒三十年（1904）清江浦漕運總督恩壽遂奏請清廷開辦清江銅元局，而在晚清時期江蘇省有三地六家造幣廠，它們是設(shè)在江寧（現(xiàn)上海市）的三個廠，設(shè)在蘇州的二個廠和設(shè)在清江浦的一個廠。丙午“淮”字大清銅幣二十文，就是由清江浦清江銅元局所鑄造。
